Refreshment Just Outside Innsbruck

The approximately 3.5-hectare swimming lake forms the heart of the Lake Natterer holiday resort. With an average water temperature of a pleasantly refreshing 22°C, it offers the perfect way to cool down on warm summer days.

Spacious green sunbathing lawns around the lake invite visitors to relax and soak up the sun. Families can enjoy a dedicated children’s bathing area with a sandy beach, as well as a separate non-swimmer zone. This allows younger guests to enjoy the water in a safe and family-friendly environment.

 

 

Water Fun and Action at the Aqua Park

Those looking for more than a relaxing swim will find plenty to enjoy at the aqua park. During the high season, numerous floating obstacles and water attractions provide plenty of variety and excitement.

Highlights include the Mega Aqua Park with a range of climbing, sliding and balancing elements, the 66-metre “Happy Swing” giant waterslide, the “Bouncer XXL” water trampoline and the floating “WiggleBridge”.

Younger water lovers can also enjoy age-appropriate attractions such as the “Big Duck” and the “Pirate”. There are also dedicated areas for canoe polo and water polo, as well as special floating sun loungers. This makes Lake Natterer much more than just a place to swim – it is a true open-air water adventure park.

Leisure Activities for All Ages

There is plenty to enjoy at Lake Natterer away from the water as well. Children can let off steam in the playgrounds or on the trampoline area. Sports enthusiasts can make use of the beach volleyball court, streetball hoop, table tennis tables, sports and play field, and outdoor gym.

As part of the entertainment programme, visitors can also try a variety of target sports, including recurve archery, crossbow shooting and air pistol shooting.

After swimming and enjoying the various sports activities, a refreshing break and something delicious to eat are, of course, a must. Several dining options are located directly within the holiday resort.

The lakeside restaurant and bar offers a welcoming atmosphere right by the water, along with a selection of international dishes and regional specialities. For a more casual option, selected meals are also available to take away and can be enjoyed on the sunbathing lawn or on the go.

Pizzeria da Giorgio and a takeaway snack bar also cater for both small and larger appetites. With such a varied choice, there is something to suit almost every taste, whether for a quick break, a relaxed evening with friends or a cosy meal for two.

During the summer months of June, July and August, regular live music events create an especially lively and atmospheric setting.

 

Opening Hours

Depending on the weather, Lake Natterer is generally open daily from mid-May to September, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The aqua park operates during the high season.
