Magical Summer Moments at Swarovski Crystal Worlds
New Chambers of Wonder, Sparkling Highlights & Garden Art in Wattens

Experience a summer full of light, poetry, and fascinating art installations – at Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, where new Chambers of Wonder, dreamlike garden landscapes, and interactive experiences for the whole family await.
“Umbra” by James Turrell – When Light Becomes an Experience
Imagine stepping into a space that doesn’t need walls to captivate. Only light. Color. Feeling.
The new Chamber of Wonder “Umbra” by world-renowned light artist James Turrell is a glowing masterpiece. A quiet, almost spiritual installation that presents crystal in its purest element – light. Known as the "master of light," Turrell has created a space that is not lit – but is light itself. A world with no beginning or end, where light loses its form and reorders your perception.
An unforgettable experience – and one you’ll only find here in Wattens: the only permanent Shallow Space Construction in the entire German-speaking world.
“Crystallizing Identity” by Chiharu Shiota – A Web of Connection
Internationally acclaimed artist Chiharu Shiota has created a second new Chamber of Wonder with “Crystallizing Identity” – a poetic, red web of thousands of threads and shimmering crystals.
Inspired by the Japanese legend of the red thread, which connects people destined for each other, she fills the space with meaning – and with crystals cast from her own hands and feet.
There are no instructions here, no right or wrong. Just you, your thoughts, and the feeling of being connected to everything.
The Garden – Where Art Meets Nature
Spanning over 7.5 hectares, the garden surrounding the iconic Giant invites all your senses to explore. International artists, designers, and architects have created an immersive world where crystal, water, light, and imagination come together.
Highlights in the Garden:
Crystal Cloud & Mirror Pool
Floating above dark water, 800,000 crystals sparkle like stars – even in daylight.
Sparkling Carousel
A modern fairytale by Jaime Hayon: 15 million crystals on a black-and-white carousel – magical for both children and adults.
Labyrinth by André Heller
A green maze in the shape of a hand – playful, mysterious, a place to get lost and found again.
Observation Tower & Alpine Garden
Wander through rare alpine plants up to a panoramic hilltop – featuring long-range telescopes by SWAROVSKI OPTIK for breathtaking views.
And in between?
A garden full of inspiration: striking artworks, poetic details, and lovingly designed spaces that invite wonder and reflection.
